7 Questions to Ask While Developing Your Brand

Brand development is the core to a successful identity in the market. Doing it successfully, however, can be a struggle for most. Here’s what you should be asking yourself while building your brand identity.

  1. Who is my ideal customer? How do your clients feel after interacting with your brand? Negative or positive, you want to know how people perceive you after discovering your service/product. Think about conducting surveys or focus groups and listen to the key phrases and terms used when describing how it made them feel.

3. How is my brand different? Now that you've compared yourself over and over, let's discover what makes you different. Although there are hundreds of brands similar to yours, they are NOT the same. Find that unique spark that will catch your customer’s attention and capitalize off of that. This is your time to shine, so make it count!

5. What is my brand voice? Are you conversational or informative? Do you use statistics frequently or do you use personal anecdotes to drive your story? Whatever you choose, be sure to build a brand character that your audience can identify with. Make them believe they are also a part of who you are as a company.
